Delete your VAKSYN account
You can delete your account and data at any time.
In the app (fastest)
- Open VAKSYN → Settings → Delete account.
- We send a code by SMS to your number. Enter it to confirm.
If you can't open the app
Email contact@vaksyn.com from a message that includes the phone number of the account (with country code, e.g. +91…). To protect you from someone else asking, we may reply with a verification step before deleting. We delete within 7 days.
What gets deleted
- Your profile (name, photo, about), phone number, contacts you synced, encryption keys, sessions and push tokens.
- Every message you sent and the files behind them, and your one-to-one chats.
- Your membership of groups, channels and communities.
What stays: messages other people received are stored only on their own devices, which we can't reach. Encrypted database backups may hold residual copies for up to 30 days, and we keep records we must keep by law. Deleting your account can't be undone.
